CERTIFIED CAREER TECHNICAL PATHWAYS

The Automotive Technology Program at CAJC in partnership with Long Beach City College is committed to preparing students for employment in the automotive industry. Our classes provide students with a strong background in automotive technology, hands-on experience, and an understanding of the automotive industry’s requirements for employment.

This class prepares students to enter the Construction Trades in a variety of apprenticeship programs. The subjects covered include physical agility, blueprint reading, industry awareness and opportunities in the crafts: introduction to the crafts and tools (hand and power); tool safety; and the heritage of the American worker. You can also receive certificates in CPR, First Aid, and OSHA 10. Completing this program allows you to demonstrate the technical and organization employability skills required by the construction industry.  

Upon successful completion of the Multi-Craft Core Curriculum (MC-3), you will receive: OSHA 10 certificate CPR certificate First Aid certificate

The Welding Technology program provides the necessary technical skills, knowledge, and attitude to prepare students for their desired career and to provide advanced training in a variety of occupations in the welding and metal fabrication industry.

Prepare students to work in a healthcare facility or in the related home health care field. A CNA’s primary role is to offer basic care to patients and assist with activities of daily living. Courses equips students with the clinical expertise, techniques, and knowledge to work in a demanding medical setting.

The Security pathway is our newest trade, and it focuses on the basic skills and certifications you'll need to start your career in the security industry. Sentri Institue Inc. is providing custom instruction to our scholars during the residential phase and even more upon graduation. SPOTS ARE LIMITED, so make sure you act fast. In this class you'll receive:   

Situational Awareness Certification, BSIS Baton Permit, BSIS 40-hour Guard Card Certification, Active Threat Response Certification, First Aid/CPR/AED Certification, Introduction to Executive Protection Certification. 

Earn your High School Diploma with CAJC and CCPA while you concurrently work on your Certified Technical Education. 

There is a minimum Credit Requirements to qualify for this option.
